with that said super impressed with Hyperliquid's swift response, could've been really dangerous for them getting attacked all over similar to what nuked Mango Markets in 2022.

but I personally think $JELLY should've been delisted earlier or probably shouldn't have been listed anyways...

maybe more active delisting reviews and voting mechanisms of the tokens tradeable on HL?

seems like there's also a potential exchange war going on as CEXes are seeing Hyperliquid as a threat.

Binance made a strike by announcing their launch of $JELLY perps to hopefully move the prices from $50mil —> $150mil causing the force liqudation scenario of HLP's vault.

A trader just did a 77 IQ play on Hyperliquid — forcing HLP to choose between a $12M loss or revealing their centralized controls.

1. Trader opened both a massive short of $6M + spot long (later) on $JELLY (JellyJelly) at ~$20m mCap.

2. Trader purposely removed margin and forced himself out of the trade by self-liquidating himself with the spot long.

3. Hyperliquid inherits the trade and is left holding the toxic position.

4. $JELLY moved from $20mil —> $50mil in under an hour, causing HLP to suffer huge initial unrealized losses of (~$12mil)

5. The diabolic scenario is If $JELLY hit a 3x at $150mil mCap — $0.15374, causing Hyperliquid's entire $230M vault to be wiped.

The outcome; HLP's validators immediately voted and reached quorom within 2 minutes to delist $JELLY perps and adjusted oracle price significantly down to $0.0095 per $JELLY closing all open positions.

This trade just exposed a few vulnerabilities questioning true decentralization of such decentralized perpetual protocols.

• No real size limits on illiquid assets
• Weak oracle manipulation protection
• "Decentralized" until things go wrong
• Emergency powers always ready
